My daughter treated me for lunch to celebrate my birthday! She knows I love to try new restaurants. First, the staff are super friendly and the restaurant had a warm welcome feeling. I wanted to try so many things but we ordered the following (pictures): For an appetizer, we ordered Boiled Won Ton (homemade and yummy). I ordered Kim - Chi Ji-Ga (Kimchi stew with beef, tofu, spicy sauce) which was delicious..not too spicy, and my daughter ordered Kai-Bi (short ribs), which I could not stop eating- slap ya mama flavor bomb! It came with 6 small sides. I cannot wait to try all of the menu items!
We love this place. If you want Korean food but you aren't hungry enough for an AYCE meal, this is the Korean restaurant to visit. Don't be scared by the prices for the appetizers - they are HUGE, like more than enough for 6 people! The small plates that come with entrees are all delicious and we asked for more marinated tofu. The hot stone bowl entrees are all good, but this time I just wanted bulgogi. The setup is a bit strange, being on the first floor in the middle of a bunch of office buildings, but I think that just adds to the charm. One of the staff was kind enough to take our picture so I didn't have to do a group selfie. We've been here many times and the service has always been great. Just know that for groups of 5 or more that tip is automatically added, but it's very clear about it on the menu and the check.
Visiting Louisville, KY and was craving Korean food on a cold and wet night. It is a very authentic Korean restaurant as someone who is from Atlanta, we have tasted plenty authentic and really good Korean restaurants. First sign of authenticity was the barley hot tea. We also ordered the Seafood Pancake as a starter, with Jjampong (Seafood) noodles and Bibimbap steak stone bowl. They are pretty good and the service especially is really excellent! We really enjoy the food as well as the company! Will definitely return again when we are in Louisville, KY!
First time. The hot barley tea was excellent. Also tried the vegetable pan cake and the hot & sour soup were good. Our entrees were amazing. Can’t wait to return
Location was kinda unusual, but once you go in it is very clean and well maintained. Wonderful customer service and the food was pretty good as well. Nice portion sizes. As with most Korean resturants it is a little pricey.
Great food, makes you feel as if you are out traveling. Always recommend the Seafood pancake
I am from Seattle and no restaurants can replace this restaurant. Very authentic and amazing! I couldn't resist ordering 2 people portions every time I was here (I was here alone for work).
First time trying Korean food! EVERYTHING was amazing! Our server was the sweetest, she was very welcoming and attentive, the food was extremely flavorful and delicious! My favorite thing was how healthy it felt, especially with all the flavor! I didn’t feel bloated or overstuffed after eating! I highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you for the amazing service and experience tonight!
